For years, aviators believed that man could not fly faster than the speed of sound. They believed even an attempt to break the sound barrier would tear an aircraft apart. Yet, in October 1947, Chuck Yeager (who passed away Monday at the age of 97), flying an X-1 at 40,000 feet exceeded 662 miles per hour, broke through the sound barrier. The sound was heard for up to 50 miles.
It was the sound of breakthrough.
I recently had a dream that I believe to be from the Lord. It was short, yet profound, and I believe it is the herald of a sound of breakthrough that will penetrate the earth.
I was in my house when I sensed something was coming. I knew it was coming quickly and I had to warn others. I somehow knew there was a sound about to pierce through the atmosphere into the earth—one that would shake everything. I ran outside to warn people about the coming sound.
I looked around for those I needed to alert. As I scanned the area quickly to locate them, I discovered they were up on a ridge above where I was standing. The road leading to the crowds of people was quite steep. In the dream, I felt dread at having to climb the mountain to get to them. However, I breathed deeply and took that first step. I found myself suddenly at the top with no effort or toil.
I called loudly to people, trying to get their attention, to warn them about what was coming. I felt they needed to get into their homes, their place of shelter, before it came. However, before I could get the words out of my mouth – the sound came. It was unlike anything I had ever heard. It was more than loud. It was a thunderous wind that resonated and caused everyone to throw their hands up over their ears and flee in fear.
The sound caused the wind to blow with extreme force as people ran for shelter.
Then I woke up.

As I prayed into this dream, I began to hear a phrase in my spirit: “The sound of breakthrough.”
I thought about the day one man pierced the sound barrier, breaking through and creating a sound that had not been heard in the earth before that day.
I also thought of another sound—it too, was unheard of…that is until the day of Pentecost.
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. (Acts 2:1-2)
Like the piercing of the sound barrier, the day of Pentecost was also a sound of breakthrough as the Holy Spirit broke through upon the earth.
Sound accompanies breakthrough.
You may find it interesting to learn, the word sound in the Strong’s Concordance means echo.
What invaded the earth that day was the reverberation of the prayers that were ascending to God. The echo came with such force that it created a sound like a mighty rushing wind so intense it shook the building they were gathered in. Not only that, but people came from miles away to see the source of the sound.
The sound of breakthrough I hear coming is an echo.
It is an echo of intense intercession that has gone forth, unceasing, for the healing of our nation. Those fervent prayers have entered into the very presence of God!
The Lord is preparing a sound, an echo of our prayers and our petitions. That sound is our breakthrough!
Echo is defined in the Websters 1828 Dictionary as: “To reverberate or send back sound; to return what has been uttered.”
We are about to see what we have been praying. What we have been declaring and decreeing have not gone unheard. Nor will God fail to answer.
God’s word, spoken from our mouth, will not return void. It will accomplish what it was sent for. It will return to us and echo back as a manifested breakthrough (Is 55:11.)
Our intercession has not been in vain. Listen for the sound. It is about to pierce through the atmosphere. The sound of breakthrough will once again shake this nation, as the Word and the power of God comes to abide in our nation afresh.
It’s time to take cover under the shadow of the Almighty. Thereby, we will not be caught off guard. For He is coming, and His reward is with Him.
There is no need to fear. This sound, like on the day of Pentecost, is from God. Yes, it will be loud. Perhaps even terrifying. It will shake what can be shaken. But hold fast. Stay under the shelter of His wings. For we are about to hear the sound of breakthrough.

I have found myself praying for the enemies of God, asking Him to pour out His Holy Spirit on them and help them to see they are being deceived and that they would come to the knowledge of Jesus Chris and be saved from destruction-that they would come to accept Jesus and would love and honor and serve Him.
I heard the Lord this morning asking me to pray for the salvation of the next Paul (former enemy of Jesus) & Stephen (Full of faith and the Holy Spirit)

You Christians and all other unknown Christians who pray are the glue that holds this country together. I realize the importance of a prayer from a Christian and I pray that you continue for the sake of our little ones. And I believe we are very close to our Lord’s return. Only HE has the power to ‘drain the swamp’ and stop all this corruption. I do not say ‘God bless America’ because that is an order. I say- God, PLEASE bless America!… which is a request.
We thank God for his love and blessings and I thank God for Christians who love enough to pray for the triumph of truth which will come.

When I left my comment yesterday regarding this timely and needed words of the Lord given through Kim, I thought to myself and for the body of Christ “thank you God – we are in need of ongoing encouragement so that we can press in and also share encouragement with others”!!
As I reviewed comments today, it was a blessing to see that God’s word and voice of encouragement is truly at work.
Yet today, I sensed another word which I believe is from our Heavenly Father. The piercing of the sound barrier also represents something else. In dictionary terms, “piercing” states the following meaning(s) – (1 ) to cut or pass through with or as if with a sharp instrument (2) to make a hole or opening in (3) to make a way through (4) to ‘sound’ sharply (5) to succeed in discerning or understanding (6) to affect and penetrate; to move deeply; transfix; to bore through.
These definitions truly line up with what is happening or will happen as God continues the work He has started.
It’s no coincidence that Mr Yeager passed on at this time. Everything is appointed for God’s timing. The man that pierced the sound barrier has now been called to his heavenly home.
God is piercing the darkness, the lies, the cover-ups, the criminal actions of those who sought to steal God’s nation that was dedicated to Him decades ago. His sword of justice has started it’s long sweep from heaven to unveil truth that will rock people to their core. The piercing of the tip of His sword has opened the atmosphere and created the path for the prayers of the saints to be poured into God’s lap. His answers will come forth. Be patient and eager but most of all, be faithful. Continue to assault the heavenlies and stand firm in the authority of what God has promised.
A year ago, Dec 12, 2019, I woke to the Crystal clear sound of the Lord’s words from Isa 30:30, except that the prophet’s 3rd person pronouns were changed to 1st!!
“I will cause My voice of Authority to be heard”…(read the context!)
I have asked several times for light on this to no avail, except that I believed it was for me personally for a current sustained illness lasting for years w no help available to treat it. But praying in this election season has brought me to the belief that this has application to more than my personal situation! This is about His** Authority!!
When I read the breakthru article I felt compelled to write! We will hear the sound* of the Final Authority & Judge! (Isa 30). He also gave me Rom 13: 1-4 in mid November re the authorities He has placed on earth, that the “sword” will go where justice is needed. That is when I sensed that the Isaiah passage was beyond just me.
A final note, esp for those into Biblical #s…on Dec 12 (12/12) last year, I felt lead to look up info on the full moon that nite. The time of its rising: 12:12 :).
* for those unaware, 12 is the # of government/authority.

I lead a prayer conference call every Tuesday on Facebook “live” from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. MST encouraging others and leading them in praying the Word over our country and elections and leaders.

Amen – needed this encouraging word! For the last several days, I have had the word “suddenly” in my heart. That the Lord is going to turn this suddenly. Thank You, Lord, that You are at work in ways we don’t yet see. We trust You – keep our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith.

Chuck Yeager: How fascinating that you wrote about breaking the sound barrier the same day the man who first broke it, Chuck Yeager passes away!
What a parallel is in place. A breakthrough, an echo of sound reverberating into the atmosphere from all the saints who have prayed fervently for truth and liberty. Chuck Yeager, who I met, was willing to risk his life to go where no man had gone. He was a pioneer, and so are we.
Keep fighting the good fight prayer warriors!!! We are breaking through to the victory!

This is confirmation of a prophetic word’s interpretation given a couple of years ago. The ultimate meaning was the only thing holding back Jesus coming again to give believers more time to do godly works on the earth was the many, many Prayers of Intercessors! How awesome that Chuck Yeager, the guy who broke the sound barrier, died yesterday, and the Lord gave that dream about the sound barrier being broken! God is so poetic. Nothing goes unnoticed by Him! How much I love and admire Him!!

I repent of being caught up in this delusion that if so many are doing it how can it be wrong when I knew in my heart it was wrong but the sick desire for pleasure overwhelmed me and I submitted to the temptation of this evil I knew was wrong. I begged for forgiveness as I read and I begged for the blood of Yeshua to cover my unGodly sin, I begged Almighty God to forgive me with tears of true repentance permeating all of my crippled body from my sinful pursuits. I know this breakthrough is coming and I want to hide in Psalm 91. In Yeshua’s incomparable name . . . So Be It!

The Lord gave me a word at church this past Sunday. It was, “God’s Glory and Power are coming. Stand for impact.” I believe our prayers ARE being heard and answered by our Lord. It will be powerful and possibly frightening because it will be awesome! I look forward to what my Father is about to do!
“Thy Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.” That is how I prayed 3X.
That the LORD is not slack in his promises, that just in his perfect timing when all seems dark & lost. As the new day dawns, the sun comes up as this breakthrough will come through.
