At every turn, believers who are committed to walking out their faith, advocating for biblical values, and godly leadership in government are being painted with the “extremist” brush.
Extremist.
Who else do we call extremist? Many in our nation had a hard time calling terrorists who blew innocent citizens up with a backpack bomb or gunned down co-workers at a holiday gathering “Islamic extremists.” The menacing and dangerous mob of people who took to the streets over the summer with pipes, bricks, and Molotov cocktails, breaking into stores, looting businesses, and committing arson to entire city blocks were not called “leftist extremists.” To the news and many on the left, they were simply protestors, exercisers of the first amendment, or citizens urging needed change.
But calling outspoken conservatives “extremists” is the new tactic.
In fact, a recent DHS warning was issued declaring a “nationwide terrorism alert…citing the potential threat from domestic anti-government extremists opposed to Joe Biden as president,” as reported by Yahoo News. Do you realize that was a warning categorizing many of us–people who were opposed to Joe Biden as president?
In the DHS warning, it stated, “violent riots have continued in recent days and we remain concerned that individuals frustrated with the exercise of governmental authority and the presidential transition… could continue to mobilize a broad range of ideologically-motivated actors to incite or commit violence.” That sounds more like a broad statement meant to pre-emptively cast suspicion on a large segment of Americans and their beliefs.
Recently, an article in Politico featured an interview with a former Department of Homeland Security employee Elizabeth Neumann discussing with the author the dangers of the evangelical movement toward what they termed as “Christian nationalism.” Although the DHS employee described herself as an evangelical, she made disparaging comments about the dedication of Christians to heralding founding principles, believing in God’s hand on our nation, and expressing concern for judgment on our nation. The intro to the article reads, “It’s Time to Talk About Violent Christian Extremism. There’s a “strong authoritarian streak” that runs through parts of American evangelicalism, warns Elizabeth Neumann. What should be done about it?”
In multiple places, journalists, pundits, and political operatives alike are similarly flashing the warning light. Fear not the Islamic and leftist terrorists mentioned above, but fear the Christians who are standing up for their beliefs, holding people accountable, and taking new efforts to get involved in civics. They have even gone as far as calling for an apology from Christians.
Evidently, it is “dangerous” for Christians to have concerns about issues such as the following, as detailed in a recent Washington Times article by Everett Piper:
“The degrading of women by telling them they no longer have the right to their own dignity, their own identity or even their own sports; The denial of science by appointing a man who doesn’t even believe in the science of anatomy to be our nation’s assistant secretary of health; The execution of our country’s youngest babies by celebrating the left’s genocidal desire to kill these children just minutes before they are born; The escalation of racism by embracing critical race theory’s (CRT’s) racist manipulation of race; The destruction of our nation by destroying its borders (For what nation can exist if it no longer has any borders to define its existence?)
Not only are there secular people calling for red-flagging people who are concerned about the above ideologies, but some within the church who are enabling the progressive spirit, casting a suspicious and inflammatory eye on the beliefs of conservative Christians. Everett Piper also addresses that as well:
Ed Stetzer, head of the Billy Graham Center in Wheaton, Illinois, says, “It’s time for a reckoning” for American evangelical Christians. David French, the senior editor for The Dispatch, calls on evangelicals to publicly apologize to the nation. Jo Anne Lyon, general superintendent emerita and ambassador of the Wesleyan Church, posts on social media that many parishioners within her own denomination might be unwittingly members of a cult and in need of being “reprogrammed.”
And what is the mortal sin for which we must repent and be reprogrammed? Millions of Christians dared to stand against the race to hell led by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris by supporting the one man on the ticket who had proven himself willing to stand in their way.
“Dangerous beliefs.” “Radical faith.” Committed to civic engagement. They want to remove our voice by painting us as extremists. Do you feel the need to apologize or back down from standing for biblical values in our nation?
No, me neither.

Praise God, we as extreme praying Christians are indeed a danger to Satan and his forces. He is very afraid of us and determined to divide us and wipe us out. Stand fast Saints of God. We win when we stand! Who is on the Lord’s side? Hold His banner high!

So vitally important to discern between goats and sheep! Watch out for their “Buts” Especially, “But did Jesus really mean what He said . . . . ?”
I would like to know why they are so afraid of God. He doesn’t force them to do anything. He gave everyone freedom to choose for themselves how they want to live but like everything else in life every choice that we make has a consequence to face.Love brings peace and unity. Hate brings anger and division.
What is happening right now is exactly what happened in Germany. A political party spread lies about the Jews. They insighted the people so that they began to hate the jews.This made it easy for the government to arrest every jew and catholic that they could find. 11million in total were killed in death camps.
Persecution is a horrible and it can cause people to do horrible things against humanity. We need to stop this before America is guilty of another Holocaust

People are not paying attention, and if we don’t WAKE UP, come together, and immediately and intensely 2 Chronicles 7:14 this, I feel in my bones that ALL of those things will come to pass. We need to PRAY, and make anyone and everyone aware of what is going on, these changes taking place, that they’re not aware of. NO ONE (on either side of the party lines) should be ok with what’s happening right now… and I’m finding that as we inform people, while speaking the Truth in love, they are NOT ok with it. We have to pray first, then speak out as God leads. There is power in numbers… “where 2 or 3 are gathered…” NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO BE SILENT!!!

I heard a comment the other day about Gods winnowing fork… I believe he will soon separate the wheat from the stubble.
I need prayer. About 3 wks. ago I joined a social media site after seeing it mentioned in an article from FOX. The founder professes to be a Christian so I thought the site would be, as well. Instead, I was viciously attacked with profanity and racial slurs with the ‘n’ word and ‘k’ word (a Jewish slur I have not heard in decades)and the kicker is I’m neither black nor Jewish. I was completely appalled. I am, however, Christian and had shared some Scriptures. I submitted these statements to their customer support. Today, I received a response from the ‘Christian’ CEO that their site is a ‘Proud American Free Speech’ site. I have deleted my account after receiving his response because I will not subject myself to such vile and abusive racial slurs which are condoned, hidden behind our Constitutional right of Free Speech. I highly doubt that such was in the minds of the Founding Fathers. My soul feels battered. The hatred thrown at me was so ‘over-the-top’. Is there no decency, respect, integrity, honor left in this world?
So sorry for your wake up call. Meaning, we in America have been as.eep for way too long. We have lived not remembering that God has a plan. Our feelings get hurt at little things we are not used to “ in a Free” society. So God allows the beginning of what his people have suffered all along the globe. We have hardly even been persecuted. I am not trying to be making you feel worse, just reminding you Talk to God about your hurt and ask him to show you how to be strong in the midst of persecution. I have been in that place but not with the foul language. Many, many years ago a teacher whom felt she was going to get me to squirm, started on me. I remember sitting in class we had just finished a lesson and I front of everyone proclaimed my name and stated So, you’re a Christian. What do you think anyone else thinks about that? She was in authority and wanted a certain out come. Well with no fear I stated, I don’t care what they think of it. I was maybe 16 or 17. . I was able to share the gospel and tell everyone staring at me about my Faith in Jesus Christ! Wow and God set it all up. I was blessed that I could count it all joy when men mistreat you, Even though it wasn’t a lynching it was a little uncomfortable. My Lord allowed me to be blest from it. Our Lord also reminds us that if he went through it, so will we. Count it all joy. Bless you and remain strong. Only God has the power to through our bodies into hell. Absent from the body is present with the Lord. Praying for calm and trust for you.
I appreciate your response. I will clarify that I am not a ‘snowflake’ that simply got my ‘feelings hurt’. There are obscenity laws and the ‘fighting words doctrine’ which do place limits on ‘free speech’. I am 100% in support of ‘free speech’. However, I am also 67 yrs. old and have been a born-again believer for 49 yrs. who lived thru a time where there use to be such things as ‘common decency’ laws (Profane content includes “grossly offensive” language that is considered a public nuisance). What grieves my spirit about this recent experience is the ‘wake-up call’ of how far this world has fallen. When people proudly, without reservation, attack someone they don’t know with ‘FU’ ‘N’ ‘K’ language and call it ‘free speech’, it makes evident how far this world has fallen. I don’t perceive such attacks as being ‘little things’. We have liberty in Christ Jesus, however, we are never to use such liberty for malicious attacks (1 Pet. 2:16). Also, there wasn’t just one of such comments, but a number on them. Granted, I was caught ‘off-guard’ because the founder of this site professes to be a Christian. Yet, he defends such obscenity as ‘free speech’. The Lord is always gracious. He is currently taking me thru a healing process from these wounds. Yesterday, I was completely stunned and grieved. Today, I am angry at the evil. Part of me asks: ‘What is this world coming to?’ with such blatant disrespect, dishonor, lack of integrity and self-restraint, etc. But I know from Scripture what this world is coming to and where it’s headed. Thankfully, I am a ‘citizen of Heaven'(Phil. 3:17-21) and in Jesus, I am part of His Kingdom which is not of this world (J. 18:36). Sadly, even the Church is partly at fault by straying from our Lord’s instructions on how to deal with things (MT. 18:15-17). By ignoring such instructions with their attempt to ’embrace all’, wolves and undisciplined sheep run rampant even in ‘Christian’ circles. If the Church does not begin to take a stand…quickly…apostasy will sky-rocket. The more they embrace ‘progressiveness’ in fear that they will lose tithing members, the more members they lose for they stand for little more than the world does. The only difference is that they stamp the name of Jesus on this debauchery. MT. 7:22 comes to mind. If the Church does not begin to heed Jude 22-23, many unnecessarily will be lost. I know Gen. 50:20 is true. I appreciate any prayers (not ‘to’ me as many now say, but ‘for’ me) as I work thru the healing process of these wounds.
No, I do NOT feel that I need to apologize nor back down for standing and speaking for Biblical values in our nation, America! We should speak louder and firmer and stand taller and stronger for Biblical values NOT sit down and be quiet.
We need to take up our amor that GOD provided. The helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the sword of his word (Bible), the belt of truth, and the Sandler of the gospel. Daily this is spiritual battle time!!!

Lord, we recognize that Satan has always opposed the Body of Christ, the Church. His tactics have not changed. He has now labeled us who love and follow Christ as extremists. Father, look upon their opposition to You, and us, your followers, and work in their lives. Convict them of their need for a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Grant us mercy, and mighty power, and prepare us for what is coming. May we always be faithful to You and Your Word. Give us the grace we need to love, pray for, and forgive our enemies. May we continue to be Salt and Light in a very dark world. Put a strong hedge of protection around Your Body that we might not suffer to no purpose. May we always live for and reflect Your glory. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Father, we want to be prepared for persecution but we also feel responsible to prepare our children. Give us guidance in this assignment. Amen

At this moment, I have read only one paragraph. It opened by asking, “Who else do we call extremist?” Right off the bat, the author assumes that everyone calls someone “extremist.” Personally, I take umbrage at that notion. I call nobody “extremist” because as you must surely observe, the word “extremist” is one of those words that means whatever the speaker (or writer) of it thinks it means. It is only used when the speaker/writer is on a roll with people of like mind. It is a label. There may have been a time when this word had a meaning with sufficient usage to put it in a dictionary, but today it is a warcry, not a part of lucid discussion.
The final sentence in this paragraph uses the phrase “needed change” as if there were a common agreement for the definition of that phrase. Surely the author does not actually believe that even two people in the USA agree on the meaning of that phrase. First, the word “change” is always the beginning of a discussion, and the word “needed” can never be assumed to be a point of agreement. What sort of change does the author believe is universally known, and who agrees that this “change” is “needed?”
This is my first trip around this site, which I joined with excitement. I pray for America every day, and I love the idea of praying with other people for godly outcomes.
However, I expected more responsible writing. It truly outrages me when anyone assumes I agree, and it maddens and baffles me when people assume I can read their minds. Please speak the truth clearly. I am sure the writer believes that “everybody knows what is meant by “needed” and the writer probably just assumes that “everyone agrees” that we need . . . . I can’t make that leap.

Elizabeth Neumann MAY describe herself as an evangelical but it’s highly doubtful that she is an “evan gelical God fearing Christian that truly understands what is going on”. There’s a big difference between that and the word “evangelical”. God help our nation. So many people and many in positions of authority have lost complete clarity of right from wrong. Their moral compass is so deceived that they no longer understand basic principles that once governed and represented all the people of this nation. Compromising for so many years in our nation has brought us to where we are & what we see today. We need you Lord and a fresh revealing of your holy Spirit over our land. Without you Lord, our nation will not it’s way back to You Lord. Amen.
Precious Heavenly Father, grant us all the courage to continue to seek you in prayer, the courage to stand against the evil that unfortunately Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris propose to wreak upon America. Please raise up those to serve who love you, will stand peacefully but strong in Godly convictions, and do their job to help thwart evil. Rejecting the principles of the Bible as a guide for governing is like tossing aside a hammer and using a brick to drive nails; it really doesn’t work. It would appear that our leaders would rather RULE than govern. They just ignore “of, by and for the people.” 2 Samuel 23:3-4, Ecclesiastes 10:2 (!), 2 Chronicles 7:14 AND 19! and Jeremiah 4:22 most assuredly!
My God, my God, please open the eyes and ears of America’s leadership. Bring them, please, to the knowledge of the truth. Father cause them to HEAR, SHEMA (Deuteronomy 6:4-5)! AS Peter prayed “Lord, save us!” In Jesus precious name we beg You: AMEN (so be it).

The people of God should be dangerous to the demonic agenda, but our battle is not against flesh and blood. We can only win this battle by rising above it like David did in psalm 27 where are feet are set on the Rock & our heads are lifted above our enemies. From this place, we see the salvation of God & we stand and offer sacrifices with shouts of joy! We are still standing & contending for God to turn this thing around. The pressure that we are feeling as the body of Christ is revealing of our foundations. The wind & waves are either crashing & causing us to buckle or crashing & bowing down to what is set on the Rock. Don’t be surprised by many christian voices going along with the lie. God is shaking & exposing what is solid & what just appears to be solid. Ephesians says that after we have done all to stand we are to stand. I believe in our standing, we will see His salvation & a great revival in this nation. His Kingdom coming & invading this nation uprooting the hidden things. It’s not by might or power,but by His Spirit! Maybe when we stop trying to figure it all out & just believe what He has promised.That is something I am having to overcome,(my own imagination). I still believe that we must do what we can in our own limited power, but when that fails He will part the sea before us. May the glory of our God come & cover this nation & the nations of the earth!
I highly recommend reading the book, Live Not By Lies–A Manual for Christian Dissidents by Rod Dreher. Unless we have come from a communist regimen, the rest of us are not prepared for persecution. This book will do that. May God bless all who read the book and may He be faithful to His promise by giving us the words we will need when we need them. In Jesus Name, AMEN.

Greetings and hugs in Christ! YES! YES! YES! As I was spending Saturday deep in prayer and Scripture,
I was led all of the sudden to view a podcast in which Rod was being interviewed. I have had friends who
were Russian, Ukrainian and from the Czech Republic–everything Rod said is TRUE! The Spirit has been
telling me “you have need for endurance”, so I have been pressing in to gain spiritual tools and maturity
to grow deeply rooted during this time of shaking. That interview convinced me to rush out that afternoon
and BUY that book, “Lie NOT By Lies”. I am only in the beginning chapters but I am SO GLAD I heeded
the instruction of the Holy Spirit.
Keep posting this recommendation often, and I will as well that we might
help our brothers
and sisters in the Body of Christ to gain a new spiritual equipping to STAND FIRM and BE THE LIGHT in

Please post the link to the interview. We have had such freedom in the US that it is hard to imagine what persecution is. May God use those who have already endured persecution to prepare, lead, and guide us in all truth so we stand firm and strong.

Father I am standing on your word commanding and declaring that this nation is a nation of and by God. I command that a hedge of protection be placed around our Christian Godly people including ALL of our government representatives and ALL government officials. I place that hedge of protection as a hedge of fire that no earthly thing can penetrate. I place the angel armies round about those holding to God’s will and His ways. Lord these are dark days indeed, and the enemy has been emboldened like never before. Lord guide us through these dark days and let us stand on Your side of the line that has been drawn. The enemy seeks to frighten people into compliance with proclamations like the one from DHS. This is a clear example of an attempt to scare the weak into renouncing You. Lord bolster our spirits and May none fall for this wicked trap. Confound the efforts of the wicked and expose them as the true evil they are. No way do I need to apologize, or back down for my Christian beliefs. Nor do I need to. I pray a hedge of protection around all who are believers, who are not ashamed of their faith, including myself. Protect your faithful, Lord, as You have promised to do. In Jesus’s name we pray. This article highlights a problem we have in our church today The church hasn’t failed because we are too extreme it is failing because we are not extreme enough about the gospel. We have let the world dictate the agenda in politics and in our schools and the church has done almost nothing. Ed Stetzer (of Billy Graham Center) and his ludicrous notion that most Christians that support Trump also support violence shows how out of touch he is with what is really happening in the church- but not surprising. I read his article. According to Ed, I guess I’m not an evangelical, because I supported Trump. I am sure Ed Stetzer and many others could find jobs at places like CNN or The NY Times; and I hope they get their resumes out there soon
Stephen, I pray that GOD will expose all the pharisees (hypocrites) that are in leadership in some of our churches and ministries. There is corruption in our churches and ministries. As well as in our government! We can not except polices that support killing unborn babies, and even just born babies, gay leaders in our churches. Just to name a few. GOD will not allow this he is going to expose corruption!

May Our Great High Priest, Jesus Our Mighty Messiah, move the Spirit and instruct us afresh in spiritual warfare as we don the Armor of LIGHT and run into the battle with fervent prayer! Yes! Just as David did, let us RUN FORWARD and fight the Goliaths of our time. We must cry out “who are these uncircumsized Philistines that they should defy the armies of the LIVING GOD”? They come at us with swords, spears and javelins (and lies),but we come at them in the Name of the Lord of Hosts! Let our “running” be our falling on our faces with tears and hot prayers!

With our own eyes we have seen it.” LORD, You have seen this; do not be silent!!! Do not be far from us, Lord. Awake, and rise to our defense! Contend for us, Our God and Lord. Vindicate us in Your Righteousness, Yahweh Tzva’ot Our God! Don’t let them gloat over us. Do not let them think, “Aha, just what we wanted!” or say, “We have swallowed them up.”

Beloved brothers and sisters! Let us fall on our faces as Moses did repeatedly before YHWH. Let us be the ones, with our own contrite and broken hearts, to beg with every fiber of our being for a STRONG WIND of repentance to shake the hearts, minds and souls of Americans to bring us to REPENTANCE. May Americans be given eyes to see, ears to hear, hearts broken and supple to HEAR the WORD which can save them and minds transformed by the POWER of the GOSPEL to cleanse of wrong doing, rebellion and sin! We cannot have revival UNLESS there is REPENTANCE. There cannot be RESTORATION unless we humble ourselves before Our HOLY GOD. He does not wink at sin. Many spiritual leaders are avoiding the “r” word (repentance)! I firmly believe if the church would bear the fruits of repentance, we would see a MIGHTY MANIFESTATION of GOD’s POWER to save America! Our Father is so Gracious and Compassionate and He longs for us to come to HIM!
As we wait for repentance to spread throughout our land, let us humble ourselves and pour ourselves out in prayer on behalf of our families, communities, our nation, Israel (in COVID, many Jews are coming to believe in Yeshua! HalleluYah!)and the world.

We are now being warned by those who know what they’re talking about, like Pastor Andrew Brunson, American missionary to Turkey for 25 years who was unjustly imprisoned in 2016. He says, “I believe the pressures that we’re seeing in our country now are going to increase, and one of these pressures is going to be hostility toward people who embrace Jesus Christ and His teaching, who are not ashamed to stand for Him. My concern is that we’re not ready for this pressure. And not being prepared is very, very dangerous on a number of levels.” Also, Rod Dreher, senior editor at The American Conservative, addresses the warning of survivors of Soviet totalitarianism to America: “It can happen here.” The title of his book is “Live Not By Lies – A Manual for Christian Dissidents.” Both Pastor Brunson and author Rod Dreher are telling us the same thing: Persecution is coming and we must be spiritually prepared for it. Likewise, the Apostle Paul is telling us: “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:13). Lord, pour out the impowering grace of the Your Holy Spirit on Your people now that we may be found faithful on that Day of Your total and complete victory over all Your and our enemies – the Day when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords, to the glory of You, our Heavenly Father (Revelation 17:14).
